EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead UI Tech Designer to bridge design and engineering for scalable UI systems in Unreal Engine.

You will translate wireframes into reusable widgets and navigation flows, partnering across UX, UI art, and engineering teams to ship polished UI experiences. You will own UI system architecture, build extensible widget libraries, optimize performance, and guide Blueprint versus native code decisions.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience as a UI Tech Designer or similar hybrid role.
• Proven leadership bridging design and engineering to align technical and UX goals.
• Deep Unreal Engine 5 experience with UMG, Slate, and Blueprints on shipped UI.
• Strong UI systems design with reusable widgets, structures, and classes.
• Excellent collaboration with UX, UI art, and engineering partners.

Responsabilidades

• Design UI system architecture by decomposing features into widgets, structures, and classes.
• Build reusable widget libraries that enable scalable UI development.
• Implement wireframes using widget classes to unblock visual styling workflows.
• Translate UX and visual design needs into technical requirements for engineering partners.
• Profile UI performance and manage texture memory and CPU budgets for real-time UI.
• Coordinate documentation, organization, and workflow improvements across UX, UI art, and UI engineering.
