Important IT company at the Latin American level is seeking a Lead Test Automation Engineer to support its growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• More than 9 years of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead testing activities, plans, and processes for complex products or services, ensuring product quality. Facilitate resource planning and resolve issues that may impede testing efforts, driving continuous improvement.
2. Design, develop, and support test cases for both functional and non-functional domains.
3. Identify test scope and environment setup needs, prepare test plans, determine relevant metrics, and track effort for large initiatives.
4. Author, build, and adopt large-scale automation frameworks with balanced coverage across UI, functional, API, and back-end integration, including end-to-end automation. Experience with various test automation approaches is required.
5. Generate and review test reports, and act on recommendations for product or design changes.
6. Evaluate, recommend, and implement testing procedures and strategies aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
7. Assist in identifying product quality risks based on high-level solution architecture.
8. Develop trusted relationships with engineering teams and key stakeholders to evaluate and implement testing procedures for products, systems, components, or modifications.
