gevernova seeks a Lead Protection & Control Engineer to design and coordinate P&C for T&D substations, data centers, and BESS applications. You will lead design teams, review relay settings, and ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions with IEC61850, SCADA, and cybersecurity integration.

You will collaborate with electrical layout engineers, vendors, and field teams, perform calculations, and help develop FAT/SAT plans while traveling up to 20% for commissioning and site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• P.E. License or EIT with willingness to pursue P.E certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in protection schemes for T&D substations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; strong presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including international.

Responsabilités

• Ensure high quality design of protection schemes for T&D substations and related applications.
• Lead local or remote design teams to develop P&C designs and schematics.
• Evaluate interoperability and communication features of IEC protection relays with SCADA and cybersecurity needs.
• Interface with vendors, review P&C documentation, and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare P&C engineering estimates and material quantities for proposals.
• Perform design calculations for DC battery sizing, voltage drop, and CT/PT parameters.
• Support FAT, SAT, outages, and commissioning activities; participate in field tests as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering managers to meet KPIs and drive continuous improvements.
