EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Backend/Distributed Systems Engineer to design and operate high-performance services that integrate with distributed storage systems and run reliably at scale.

You will lead by example across engineering teams and on-call support, collaborating with global teams to build resilient systems and ensure robust RPC-based services via gRPC or Thrift.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on Rust backend engineering experience.
• Strong leadership to drive design and delivery across teams.
• Expertise in distributed storage systems beyond general DB usage.
• Proficient in concurrency with async and multithreading models.
• Experience designing RPC services with gRPC or Thrift.
• Excellent debugging and production troubleshooting skills.
