EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to architect, build, automate, and manage infrastructure spanning on‑prem data centers and GCP environments. You will guide automation, IaC, and cloud-native tooling while mentoring engineers to support global-scale operations.

The role focuses on designing scalable infrastructure, driving Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible efforts, and maintaining robust monitoring across hybrid environments.

Formación

• 5+ years of infrastructure or systems engineering experience with production systems.
• Experience with remote management of production hardware at colocation facilities.
• Extensive Linux administration (Red Hat or Debian) at scale.
• Strong networking experience (Cisco, DNS, load balancing, traffic management).
• Automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, or equivalent.
• Python or similar language for tooling and automation.
• GCP experience including Compute Engine, networking, storage and IAM.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor engineers.
• Excellent English proficiency (B2 or higher).

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to architect, build, automate, and manage infrastructure spanning our on-prem data centers and GCP environments. This role fits an engineer who developed their foundation through hands-on operations work (racking hardware, running networks, bare metal OS installs, keeping systems online at 2am) and has since cultivated deep skills in automation, infrastructure as code, and public cloud platforms.
