Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Python Engineer to own GitHub Enterprise administration, governance, and reporting across an organization-wide setup.

You will build Python automation around GitHub data, support audit requests, and improve developer workflows while collaborating across teams. The role focuses on administering GitHub Enterprise at scale, defining governance, and delivering reliable dashboards and reports via BigQuery to stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python experience building operational automation.
• 5+ years of experience administering GitHub Enterprise at scale.
• Proven project ownership for delivering reliable reporting and automation.
• Strong Git operations skills including branching strategies and access controls.
• Clear communication for cross-team coordination and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Administer GitHub Enterprise organizations, teams, repositories, and access controls.
• Define and enforce Git governance, workflows, and repository best practices.
• Build Python scripts to extract, process, and maintain GitHub data.
• Implement reporting pipelines using BigQuery and enable stakeholder visualization.
• Coordinate audit support with evidence and documentation.
