Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an experienced Planning Leader in Mexico’s Chihuahua region to monitor performance, oversee procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials.

You will lead end-to-end planning activities and collaborate across teams to ensure capacity alignment with demand while optimizing cost and service levels. The role requires 5+ years in planning leadership, strong SAP PP experience, and advanced English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, Master Scheduling, or related leadership roles.
• Experience with SAP PP module is required.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong background in Demand, Supply, Capacity Planning, MPS, Inventory and Material Planning.
• Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems and planning processes.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer demand, forecasts, and historical usage to develop production and material planning strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align production plans with demand while optimizing cost, service and inventory.
• Lead the production scheduling process balancing demand, capacity, inventory targets, and priorities.
• Monitor demand vs capacity and develop mitigation plans for shortages or fluctuations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Operations and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive planning strategies that support business objectives and customer service goals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for planning effectiveness and schedule stability.
• Develop recovery plans to minimize disruptions from shortages or escalations.
• Establish and monitor planning KPIs and accountability standards.
• Coach and mentor team to strengthen technical and leadership skills.
