We are seeking a dynamic Senior Product Specialist for our Americas Commodities Team in Mexico City. This customer-facing role bridges product expertise, customer outcomes, and commercial strategy.

You will help customers maximize the value of our research and analytics through understanding workflows, delivering training, product demos, and support to increase adoption, satisfaction, and growth via upselling, cross-selling, and retention.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with leading energy and commodities companies as a trusted advisor and advocate for our solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Drive customer engagement: Deliver tailored, workflow-based training to deepen product adoption and value.
  2. Be a product evangelist: Develop expertise in your product domain, including roadmaps, and communicate complex offerings into clear customer benefits.
  3. Support commercial growth: Partner with Customer Success and Account Managers to secure renewals, expansions, and new business through strategic engagement and insights.
  4. Resolve product inquiries: Handle customer queries professionally, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  5. Create digital learning content: Design engaging training materials like videos, e-learning modules, and walkthroughs for scalable customer learning.
  6. Collaborate across teams: Work with Research, Product, Sales, and Marketing to share insights, co-create resources, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  7. Shape product evolution: Provide feedback and market intelligence to influence product roadmaps based on customer needs and industry trends.
  8. Measure success: Track engagement outcomes and report on value delivery to support continuous improvement.

About You

  • Ability to work with complex data sets and understand customer workflows and needs.
  • Proficiency with MS applications, especially intermediate Excel skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across customer organizations, from end users to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams to achieve commercial success.
  • Passion for growing the business and personal development.
  • Curiosity about data and analytics tools to solve business issues.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles within B2B sales, data analytics, or SaaS solutions.
  • Knowledge of Customer Success Platforms like Gainsight is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and training skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of natural resources, energy, or oil and gas sectors.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
