Marmon Holdings, Inc. in Apodaca, Mexico, is seeking a shift supervisor to monitor operations flow, troubleshoot equipment, and drive continuous improvement on the plant floor.

You will oversee shifts, ensure peak productivity, and maintain a safe, clean environment with strict quality controls. Key duties include managing hand-offs, ensuring material readiness for the next shift, and supporting tooling and process changes.

Formación

• Minimum of five years of applicable work experience.
• Experience with computer and/or computer related systems.
• Robotics and/or automation experience.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure efficient mold changes, startup and shutdown quality.
• Maximize shifts GPPH output and maintain part quality per the control plan.
• Lead shift hand-offs, ensure materials are ready, and communicate metrics to subordinates.
• Assist in development of new processes, tooling reviews, and warehouse management.

Monitors operations process flow and quality of production parts. Troubleshoots equipment problems and process problems. Installs new equipment and documents all process signals and corresponding corrective action.

Essential job functions:

• Primary Responsibilities:
• a. Oversee/Manage your specific shifts operations.
• b. Assure plant floor is operating at peak productivity, as exhibited by:
• A safe, clean and accident free environment.
• Thorough and quick mold changes.
• Successful startup, bucket length and shutdown quality.
• Maximize the shifts GPPH (good parts per hour) output.
• Assure thorough parting line cleanings are performed at least once per shift, more depending on the specific product.
• Assure product quality through the use of machine process limits, machine auto reject alarms, and part inspection to the control plan. This is accomplished through the use of:
• Strict adherence to the First and Last Shot Check sheet.
• Control Plan Checks, with Quality Reporting via Attribute or Variable Data Systems.
• Established limits and guidelines for approved process – Process Monitoring.
• Participation in both the Manufacturing Team Meetings and the monthly Quality Operating System
• meetings, as well as communicating metrics and their impact on them to your direct reports.
• Successful shift hand-off to your customer (the next shift), by:
• Assuring raw materials (resin, components and packaging) are in place for a minimum of four hours into the next shift.
• Assuring the floor is clean and organized at shift hand-off.
• Assuring the floor is in control and not starting the next shift in an out-of control state.
• Stay until which time the above items are covered, and/or the next shift (your customer)
• Complete employee evaluations for subordinates.
• Establish, Maintain and Evaluate effectiveness of authored work instructions. Looking for ways to continuously improve all areas related to manufacturing.

• Secondary Responsibilities:
• a. Assist in the development of new processes, including, but not limited to the following:
• Molding Process Setup (In Mold Rheology, 95% fill at transfer, etc.)
• Robot Programming and Modification
• b. Assist in Preliminary and Final Tooling Reviews.
• c. Assist in quality related tasks (sorting, increased inspection, GR&R’s, Cpk Studies, etc.) as required.
• d. Assist in warehouse management (raw and finished goods movement).
• e. Assist in the maintenance of tooling and equipment as required.
• f. Assist in pulling finished goods materials for shipment as required.
• g. Assist in other job-related activities to help support a clean, safe and affective organization.

Training and Work experience preferred:

• A minimum of five years of applicable work experience.
• Experience with computer and/or computer related systems.
• Robotics and/or automation experience.
