Job summary

LEGO Group in Monterrey seeks a senior engineer to lead guarantee acceptance testing for injection moulds, support technicians, and coordinate with global maintenance teams on mould design improvements. You will drive root-cause analysis, guide repairs, coach colleagues, and push continuous improvement while communicating in English.

The role is based in Monterrey with a hybrid work model and global collaboration.

Qualifications

Experience in injection mould maintenance.
Proven continuous improvement and analytical problem-solving experience.
Practical ability to assess and perform major repairs on injection moulds.
Strong communication skills and experience guiding technical colleagues.
Advanced English.

Responsibilities

Lead Guarantee Acceptance Testing and support mould technicians in identifying defects and coordinating claims with the responsible teams.
Lead root-cause problem solving for mould malfunctions and determine when advanced continuous improvement methods are needed.
Collaborate with global maintenance teams on mould design improvements, spare parts, supplier topics, claims, and low-efficiency moulds.
Coach mould repair and cleaning colleagues on troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and process improvements.
Challenge existing processes to protect mould integrity and improve operational efficiency.
Lead technical projects and implementations aligned with local initiatives and business priorities.
