Wabtec Corporation in Mexico is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the Electric Rotating Machines team. You will design and develop electric machines, lead cross-functional collaboration, and support existing products from concept through production.

You will perform design, analysis, testing, and field support for motors and alternators, while advancing reliability and productivity with global teams. English proficiency is required.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with hardware design (motors, transformers, etc.)
• Experience with rotating equipment (alternators, generators, AC motors, DC motors)
• Good communication skills
• English Proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Execute design, analysis, or testing to meet component and system requirements
• Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
• Collaborate with global teams on assigned projects
• Validate components, release drawings and specifications
• Create engineering documents (DFMEA, design reviews, purchase specs)
• Lead new product introductions, reliability, and productivity efforts
• Participate in technical and program reviews

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
