Benchmark Gensuite in Aguascalientes, MX is seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer to join our Platform Applications and Components team. You will provide technical leadership for both frontend and backend development, troubleshoot issues, and drive performance improvements across our unified EHS and sustainability software platform.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in Software Engineering/Product Development with a focus on web application development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Vanilla JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid understanding of DOM manipulation, responsive UI design, and browser-based application development.
• Experience building and maintaining basic web forms, including validation, submissions, and user interactions.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE).
• Familiarity with SQL databases, writing queries, and integrating frontend with backend systems using CRUD operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills for web applications.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in Agile environments.
• Proficient English communication skills (C1).

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team in developing and maintaining JavaScript-based application frameworks and components.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues within the application frameworks, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of frameworks with other systems.
• Optimize performance for speed, scalability, and reliability of frameworks.
• Stay updated with trends and best practices in our core technology stack and implement improvements.
• Mentor and train junior team members to grow their skills.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions with technical insights.
• Contribute to documentation including specs, guides, and release notes.
• Assist in planning and executing software releases for smooth deployment.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality standards and thorough testing.
