  • This will include being a vital member of the integrated commissioning/start-up team(s) with the EPC contractor.
  • Improve and actively monitor operating conditions and parameters of field equipment.
  • Understand the status of field equipment safety systems and field safety devices, ensuring they are in place and operable or that approved alternate safeguards are available for continued safe operation and effective emergency response.
  • Conduct all process-related field operations and activities on shift in coordination with or direction from the DCS Operator-Process.
  • Support implementation of the equipment clearance procedure, Job Safety Analysis, Work Authorization, Confined Space, and Hot Work Permits.
  • Ensure required area safety checks are conducted, personnel executing work in process areas are familiar with emergency protocols, and all safety requirements are in place prior to maintenance activities.
  • Participate in the training program, act as a mentor, and provide meaningful job assignments, on-the-job training, and progress monitoring.
  • Participate in Operating Procedure & Manual development processes.
