Hubbell Incorporated seeks an experienced design engineer to coordinate the design, development, and documentation of NEMA electrical enclosures and related sheet metal components. You will lead front-end design to handoff with manufacturing engineering, ensuring timely completion and compliance with UL/CSA/IEC standards.

Ideal candidates have an AS degree in engineering, 5–10 years in relevant design, and strong project management with hands-on CAD proficiency (Autodesk Inventor).

Formación

• AS Degree (Associates) in Engineering or equivalent experience (Mechanical preferred).
• 5-10 years minimum in Design NEMA Electrical Enclosures and/or sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong project management skills in handling multiple simultaneous projects.
• Skilled in 3D CAD software preferably Autodesk Inventor.
• A self-starter capable of independently handling all required engineering tasks.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the design, development, and documentation of specials using Autodesk Inventor 3D and AutoCAD.
• Manage front-end design through handoff with manufacturing engineering and KPI reporting.
• Produce engineering drawings, BOMs, and UL submittals as needed.
• Ensure conformance with UL, CSA, ETL, IEC, and other standards.
• Distribute regular status updates and maintain project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance to the specials team on complex projects.
• Redesign products for function, cost reductions, and sustainability.
