Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production, quality, and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes LEAN principles, problem solving, and data-driven decision making. You will work on layout optimization, tooling design, vendor coordination, and time/cost estimates, contributing to safer, more productive operations with consistent quality.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (General, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical), or related field is required.
• Minimun 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD is required.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies are preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is required.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are required.
• Experience with project management and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods applying engineering and LEAN principles.
• Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and layout for maximum efficiency and product flow.
• Consult with planning and design staff to ensure efficient production methods.
• Study specifications and shop data, resolving design problems with engineering and shop personnel.
• Prepare tool and fixture concepts and develop CAD drawings for review and approval.
• Coordinate with vendors to determine product specifications and procure equipment and parts.
• Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs for management decisions.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
• Collaborate with management and other staff on production capabilities and schedules.
