HCL Technologies Limited seeks a Lead Data Engineer in Mexico City to design, build, and evolve enterprise data platforms supporting credit risk products and analytics. You will lead pipelines, ensure data quality, and drive modernization to cloud-based architectures.

The role requires deep experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), plus leadership and mentoring of engineers across teams.

• Design and implement enterprise-grade data platforms and pipelines.
• Architect scalable ETL/ELT frameworks with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake and cloud-native tech.
• Establish data quality, lineage, governance, observability, and monitoring for trusted data products.
• Migrate legacy data assets to cloud-based Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering standards across the data ecosystem.
• Lead technical design reviews and influence architecture for data-intensive applications.
• Drive performance, reliability, cost efficiency for large-scale data processing.
• Enable AI and advanced analytics via governed data products.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-grade data platforms and pipelines.
• Architect and implement scalable ETL/ELT frameworks using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and cloud-native tech.
• Establish data quality, lineage, governance, observability, and monitoring capabilities.
• Drive migration and modernization of legacy data assets into cloud-based architectures and Data Lakehouse platforms.
• Partner with Risk, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Define and promote engineering standards, testing frameworks, and deployment automation.
• Lead technical design reviews and influence architectural direction across data-intensive services.
• Optimize large-scale data processing workloads for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Enable AI and advanced analytics through high-quality, reusable data products.
• Mentor and raise the technical capability of engineers across the organization.
