ICON Clinical Research is seeking a Principal Clinical Data Science Programmer to lead programming for CDMS and analytics in a remote, multi-country setting (Canada, Mexico, Colombia). The role emphasizes development, validation, and maintenance of EDCS, data validation, and external vendor data handling.

The candidate should have 10+ years in EDC programming, strong SAS/SQL/R/Python skills, and prior leadership experience, with advanced English communication.

Formación

• 10+ years of programming experience for EDC systems (Rave) in clinical trials.
• Data analytics experience with SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience leading, training, and mentoring junior programmers.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, and/or Python programming languages.
• Strong collaboration and communication in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, validate, and maintain programming solutions for CDMS (EDC like Rave/Veeva), data outputs, reviews, and custom reports.
• Create and maintain programs for handling external vendor trial data.
• Perform data extracts from CDMS and develop data transfer programs.
• Collaborate with data managers, project managers, and biostatisticians to integrate programming solutions.
• Serve as primary contact during study setup and maintenance for programming questions.
• Provide mentoring and training to other programmers and share knowledge.
