Stellantis NV seeks a Technical Manager for Beam Axles to lead the release team responsible for design, analysis, release and testing of beam axle components and subsystems. You will work with suppliers to ensure program milestones are met and provide expert leadership across engineering disciplines.

Formación

• Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering degree or similar.
• 12+ years of engineering experience in the automotive industry or product engineering design, validation and engineering projects development with OEM and/or tier 1/2 supplier.
• Experience managing an engineering team preferable for beam axles.
• Experience with Propulsion System Components.
• Very good understanding of vehicle functions and general vehicle architecture.
• Strong knowledge with automotive manufacturing and quality processes.
• Advanced English language skills 90% (Read and Write).
• High leadership, communication, organization, planning, decision making and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience navigating complex stakeholder relationships and uncertainty and effect lasting change through effective communication and experience.
• Proactive, Learning, self-driven, Teamwork oriented.
• Efficient work under pressure and high communication skills.
• Training in problem solving techniques.
• Must be able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to lead and manage Suppliers.
• Assembly and computer aided design (NX / CATIA).
• Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R)
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Responsabilidades

• Lead the beam axles design and release team executing product design, analysis, release and testing.
• Develop subject matter expertise for select components or assemblies as assigned.
• Lead supplier product engineering communications and reviews.
• Prepare work plans aligned with program timing and milestones.
• Perform advanced analysis and simulation of actuation mechanisms (electro-mechanical & servo-hydraulic).
• Deliver engineering documentation and reports, including DFMEA and DVP&R, for components and subsystems.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transmission and driveline SMEs to address failures and driving improvements.
• Produce status reports and presentations for management and CE organization.
• Support manufacturing on production-related issues and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis of driveline/axle issues and supplier engagements.
• Execute layer process audits at supplier plants for assigned components.
