EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead AI Agentic Developer in Mexico to drive AI-powered engineering initiatives for retail experiences.

You will own GenAI and RAG solutions end-to-end across Python/FastAPI, React/TypeScript, and Google Cloud Vertex AI, with a focus on observability and cost control. You will mentor teammates, collaborate with solution engineers and product teams, and ensure architectural alignment with non-functional requirements and business needs.

Formación

• 5+ years in software development with hands-on GenAI and agentic development.
• Hands-on experience with LLM observability and tracing.
• Strong skills in prompt-engineering and structured outputs.
• Proven experience with Google Cloud Vertex AI and related cloud services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, deploy, and support AI-powered applications using Python/FastAPI backends and React/TypeScript frontends.
• Own GenAI systems end to end, including architecture choices, delivery, and cost optimization.
• Implement LLM orchestration techniques including prompt engineering and RAG workflows.
• Create observability pipelines for AI platforms (trace analysis, token usage, cost metrics).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship in agentic development and AI-tool integration.

We are building a Lead AI Agentic Developer role to lead AI-powered engineering initiatives that elevate the retail experience through generative AI.
