We are expanding our legal department and we’re looking for a talented and experienced professional to be the Senior Lawyer. You will be responsible for maintaining communication with external suppliers, providing legal advice related to Mexico and LATAM, and creating new processes for our inVision projects.

Please note that CVs in English will be considered primarily.

This position is based in Mexico City, Mexico.

What you will do:

• Legal research: Conducting complex legal research and analysis for the implementation of educational, cultural, sports, and other socially oriented impact projects;
• Legal support of launches: Leading legal support for project launches in the LATAM region;
• Legal advisory: Providing expert legal advice on topics related to non-profit projects and initiatives; reviewing publications and marketing materials;
• Regulatory monitoring: Monitoring relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting impact projects in the countries of presence;
• Drafting and reviewing: Terms of use, policies, and contracts, including service agreements, sponsorship, cooperation, donation agreements, and others;
• Oversight of legal compliance: Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure impact projects’ compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
• Corporate support of NGOs.

What we expect from you:

• Law degree;
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience;
• Proficiency in conducting legal research, analyzing case law, statutes, and regulations;
• Ability to provide clear and practical recommendations based on research;
• Expertise in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents;
• Experience working on complex cross-functional and international projects;
• High level of responsibility and self-organization;
• Effective communication skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Fluent in legal Spanish and English, both written and verbal;
• Experience supporting educational, art, sports, and other socially oriented/non-profit projects, as well as fundraising support, is beneficial.
