Lear Corporation in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, is seeking a Project Launch Coordinator to oversee resources and activities for new project launches, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and budget adherence across functions.

The role requires 5+ years in the automotive industry, strong communication and leadership, and deep knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC), Lean Manufacturing, and program management, with advanced English.

Formación

• +5 years in Automotive, launch or industrializing processes.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership and listening ability.
• Strong knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC), Lean Manufacturing, Program Management, cost evaluation.
• English advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and execute new projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget.
• Develop and implement facilities, processes, tools, and products at the latest level.
• Maintain strong communication with all organizational levels.
• Implement actions to improve the product and reduce costs.
• Allocate and manage budgets for project needs.
• Serve as liaison between client, program manager, and plant for changes.
• Ensure launches align with client events.
• Coordinate departments during new program launches.
• Promote culture and values of the organization.

Job Description

Coordinate all the necessary resources and activities to achieve the strategic objectives set by management, ensuring successful and organized New Project Launches.

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordination, and execution of new projects, ensuring their completion on time, with quality, and within budget.
• Develop and implement facilities, processes, tools, and products, keeping them at the latest level.
• Strong communication skills with different levels of organization.
• Implement actions to improve the product and reduce costs.
• Detect needs and seek the allocation of the necessary budget to meet them, as well as the management of such budgets.
• Contact between client, program manager, and plant for the implementation of engineering changes or the launch of new programs/projects.
• Ensure the correct execution of the launch of new programs according to client events.
• Coordination of all departments and related functions during the launch of new programs or projects.
• Disseminate the culture and values of the organization

Experience Requirements

• +5 years in the Automotive Industry. Proven experience in launching or industrializing processes.
