Formación

We are hiring immediately for a LATAM Mining Sector Manager to lead the formulation and execution of the mining sector strategy for Latin America.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement the value propositions for the mining sector in Latin America.
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers in the Latin America mining sector.
  • Manage, coach, and champion the professional development of Mining sector business development managers and peers in the Latin America region.
  • Analyze competitors and develop counter strategies within business units.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Global Sector Team to ensure effective messaging and strategy.
  • Analyze and prioritize market opportunities and projects.
  • Stay informed about new entrants/players, market developments, growth rates, and technological innovation.

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong experience in the mining sector, preferably in mining companies, service or equipment supplier, with previous experience in Latin America.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred) or related field, with a specialization in sales.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish mandatory. Portuguese is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Latin America.
  • Extensive network of mining client contacts in Latin America, including international mining companies, local mining companies in the region, mining service companies/EPC groups.
  • Previous experience in business development, sales and/or operations with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Proven ability to execute strategy development plans, market development, account management and competitor analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills with the company's client and sales team.
