A prestigious university is seeking a full-time Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations in their Assisted Reproduction Programme. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good command of English, and basic IT proficiency. This position offers a competitive salary and requires some work experience. Laboratory Assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532970) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, preferably with some work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication and interpersonal skills; and basic proficiency in IT (e.g. English Word processing, MS Excel).

The appointee will provide support to the laboratory of the Assisted Reproduction Programme at the University’s teaching hospitals. He/She will assist in laboratory operation such as stocktaking and ordering, perform clerical duties and undertake other duties as assigned. Working on Saturday is required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
