TUOPU Group in Mexico is seeking a Lab Engineer with at least two years in the automotive sector to oversee the metrology lab, lead quality engineers for new projects, and coordinate test scheduling.

You will manage CMMs and testing equipment, drive SPC and MSA improvements, and support first-piece release and fixture certification, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in an engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive experience.
• English conversational indispensable.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and lead metrology laboratory staff and quality engineers for new projects.
• Coordinate logistics and scheduling of tests per client and internal requirements.
• Internal auditor for ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Manage measuring devices like CMMs, environmental cameras, force testers, spectrophotometers and calipers.
• Lead continuous improvement in measurement methods with SPC and MSA.
• Plant startup: supervise metrology technicians in establishing measurement programs for first-piece release and fixture certification.
• Program OGP Vision and operate Hexagon PC-DMIS software.
• Handle CNC/measurement program development for production lines.

• Coordinate and lead the tasks of the metrology laboratory staff, Quality Engineers for new projects, and Quality Engineers focused on production lines
• Coordinate the logistics and scheduling of tests according to client needs and internal requirements

• Manage measuring devices such as CMMs, environmental cameras, force testing equipment, spectrophotometers, calipers, etc.
