Job summary

Banco Nacional de Mexico, S.A., Integrante Del Grupo Financiero Banamex seeks an entry-to-mid level KYC Operations Analyst 2 to support AML monitoring, governance and regulatory reporting with the Compliance and Control team. The role focuses on developing and managing a dedicated KYC program for Citi Mexico operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ECONOMICS or ADMINISTRATIVE field is required (letter of graduation or degree).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Financial Sector.
• Customer service skills including phone contact with clients.
• Experience opening bank accounts and handling KYC processes.
• Knowledge of KYC procedures and document validation.
• Awareness of local banking regulations and AML/PLD controls.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency is indispensable.

Responsibilities

• Execute KYC processes and update records per current regulations and internal policies.
• Analyze information to validate customer profiles and identify potential risks.
• Ensure timely compliance with regulatory requests and keep client information up to date.
• Manage preventive controls related to KYC records, tracking expirations and action plans.
• Maintain ongoing client interaction to obtain, validate and update documentation.
• Contribute to risk identification, mitigation and escalation to protect the institution and its clients.
