A global productivity partner in mining is seeking a Key Account Manager for the Zona Norte region. This hybrid position requires at least 3 years of experience in the Mexican mining industry and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering. The successful candidate will analyze the sales market, manage customer needs, and work extensively throughout Mexico with up to 50% travel expected. Formación

Your Mission

Meet the sales target set by the Business Line Managers and the customer's requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze the potential sales market for EPIROC and prospect based on the products offered by the company.
  • Manage the process of identifying customer needs, scheduling effective visits to detect real opportunities with current customers, and developing potential clients.
  • Keep the TTM database updated and manage the portfolio with the objective of increasing market share with customers.
  • Manage customers within the assigned area, identifying projects, opportunities, and potential.
  • Offer the full range of EPIROC products, entering all markets.
  • Update the opportunity file on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare a weekly visit plan in coordination with management.
Requirements (General and Specific Knowledge)
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Mexico Mining industries (mandatory).
  • Possess an analytical and structured approach to the business with good understanding of financial statements and solid business principles.
  • Proven background in supporting and managing sales professionals to exceed sales targets and expand their professional development opportunities.
  • Highly developed collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • English level: intermediate; advanced English is a plus.
  • Extensive travel in Mexico is required, with some international travel a possibility.
  • Always maintain courteous and professional demeanor and communication with customers and internal staff.
  • Up to 50% travel is expected: usually involving BPs locations in Mexico.
  • Work location: CDMX.
