A leading global consulting firm is seeking an Operations Consultant to enhance client project delivery and develop supply chain solutions. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Responsibilities include supporting end-to-end supply chain optimization, procurement transformation, and contributing to strategic initiatives. Excellent project management and teamwork skills are vital in this role, which requires knowledge of analytical tools and supply chain planning methods.

KOSequipsourKearneyteamswithleadingedgeanalytics,practicaltechnologies,provenchangemanagement frameworks, and a range of specialized knowledge relevant to both immediate and long-termobjectives. KOS includes a team of specialized consultants with deepexpertisein supply chainand procurementtransformation. The team has hands-on experience instrategizing andimplementing frameworks andleading digitaltoolsandframeworksinsupplychainplanninganddeliveryareas.

OVERVIEWOFTHE KOSOPERATIONSCONSULTANTROLE:

The Operations Consultant will be integral to client project delivery and development ofCoEofferings and tools.This isa keyrole in executingsupply chain managementoperationsand procurementsolutions with a focuson continuous process improvement.

SPECIFICJOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

CLIENTDELIVERY:

Supportglobalclientteams(preferably attheclientsite)indesigningandexecutingsupplychainand procurementsolutionsto (non-exhaustive):

• End-to-end supply chain processesoptimization
• Procurement transformation – people, process, and Digital & AI
• Procurement assessmentsand diagnostics, digital transformations
• End-to-end sourcing execution -sp baseline, cost models, benchmarking,RFXexecution,RFxanalysis, negotiation strategy
• Broader supply chain process solutioning,e.g.Supply and demand planning, Demand forecasting, inventory planning, andlogisticsnetwork optimization.
• Design and implement supply chain tools andsolutions

CLIENT DEVELOPMENT:

Proactivelycontribute to existing client development initiativesby:

• Workingin dynamic environments with varying client needs and project requirements.
• Willing to step into different roles and collaborate seamlessly to achieve project goals.

KOSCOEDEVELOPMENT:

Workwiththefirm leadersinsupportingandexecutingthestrategy fortheCoE.

Contribute toknowledgecreation by codifying and publishing papers/reports.

Supportthein-houseITtools/assetdevelopmentteams.

EDUCATIONANDEXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS:

Workexperienceof3-7yearspreferablywithaprofessionalservicesfirm,onSupplychain andprocurementtopics, includingatleastsomeexperiencein demand/ supplyplanningandprocurement / procurement consulting.

Master’sdegree/MBAfroma reputedinstitution.

Excellent ownership and collaborative teamwork skills.

Excellent project management skills withthe abilityto collaborate seamlesslyacross functions.

Knowledge and experience running thestrategicsourcing process; setting category baselines,gatheringsupply market intelligence, settingsourcingstrategy, executing market events and negotiations, awardingand implementing supply solutions.

Knowledge and experience of working with e-sourcing tools like Coupa, Keelvar etc.

Knowledge and experience of working withbroadersupply chain planning and optimizationa plustoolssuch as Llamasoft, o9, Kinaxis, OMP, Optano etc. is agood to have.

Comfortablewithanalysisoflargedata sets.Proficientinusingexcelandmacrosforanalysis.Useofanalyticaltools(likePowerBI,Qlikview,Tableau)is aplus.
