Sterling Kohler in Juarez, Nuevo León, Mexico, seeks an Import & Export Operations Analyst to support daily import/export operations, customs compliance activities, and logistics coordination to ensure material availability and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Customs Brokers, carriers, and internal teams; reviewing pedimentos; generating reports; and supporting exports. Preference for candidates with SAP/Annex 24 and strong Excel skills.

Formación

  • 3+ years of experience in Import & Export Operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Customs documentation, Pedimentos, IMMEX Program, Certificates of Origin and International Trade regulations.
  • Experience coordinating with Customs Brokers, Carriers and Logistics Providers.
  • Familiarity with maritime, ground and air transportation operations.
  • Experience with SAP, Annex 24 systems and advanced Microsoft Excel preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor and follow up maritime import shipments (FCL and LCL), ensuring visibility of shipment status, ETA updates and issue escalation.
  • Support daily import operations by coordinating with Customs Brokers, Carriers and internal departments.
  • Review import documentation and proforma pedimento validations, including part numbers, tariff classifications, origin information and unit of measure consistency.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of discrepancies between customs documents and invoices.
  • Collect technical information, supplier documentation and product specifications required for customs classifications and trade agreement analysis.
  • Maintain and follow up Certificates of Origin database and supporting documentation.
  • Support export operations and shipment coordination activities.
  • Generate and update operational reports related to imports, exports, shipment tracking and customs activities.
  • Coordinate shipment status communications with carriers, customs brokers and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in inventory, audit and compliance activities as required.

Import & Export Operations Analyst

Work Mode: Onsite, Juarez, Nuevo León

Location: Juarez, nuevo león
Opportunity

Under the supervision of the Materials Manager, this position is responsible for supporting daily Import & Export operations, Customs Compliance activities and logistics coordination to ensure material availability, regulatory compliance and uninterrupted flow of goods into and out of the facility.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION

Preference Bachelor's Degree.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
  • 3+ years of experience in Import & Export Operations within a manufacturing environment.
