Job Duties

1. Under broad direction, provides support to office and field operations related to well planning and BHA design and operation.
2. Assists in publishing commercial and technical successes.
3. Delivers solutions for designing the well plan, following anti-collision processes, BHA Design modeling requirements, and generating service documentation.
4. Generates reports using current software applications.
5. Fully understands survey management principles and applies them to well planning.
6. Develops and maintains relationships with the technical customer base and consults to determine their needs.
7. Maintains well planning and BHA design databases and may prepare post-job analysis reports.
8. Performs post-job reviews, participates in failure investigations, and reports findings.
9. Supervises, peer-reviews work, and mentors less experienced team members.
10. Advises on equipment capabilities and guides customers and field personnel on technical complexities and operations.

Qualifications

Requires an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline, preferably Engineering, and a minimum of 4 years relevant industry experience, including experience at the well site.
