PPG Industries (UK) Limited seeks a Jr production lead to oversee all production operations at our Tepexpan plant, ensuring quality, delivery, and cost targets are met while optimizing resources.

You will lead teams, drive continuous improvement, and enforce safety protocols, collaborating with supervisors and managers to maintain high performance and compliance with company standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the chemical industry.
• Availability to work rotating shifts and travel between PPG sites/locations.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience managing both unionized and administrative personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all production operations to meet quality, volume, cost, and delivery goals.
• Coordinate production lines and workflows to maximize productivity.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs and lead times.
• Ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Manage materials, equipment, and workforce to optimize operations.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to minimize risks and comply with regulations.
• Create production reports and measurements to support decision-making.
• Communicate across associates, supervisors, and managers to align goals and actions.
