As a Junior Network Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure. You will work under the guidance of senior network administrators and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of network systems and services. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of professional work experience.
  • Familiarity with network devices and technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest networking technologies and advancements.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Cisco Certification preferred (CCNA)
  • ITIL Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated planning skills and a proven ability to execute change requests at predetermined time frames leveraging proper change management practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute changes to customer environments to configure network equipment for SNMP monitoring. This will include coordinating time and date for the implementation window, execution, and documentation for each activity.
  • Track completion status for multiple customers through the life of the project
  • Attend regular status/cadence meetings to keep leadership up to date on the progress of the project efforts
