ALLNEX is seeking a Junior General Ledger Accountant to join its Finance team in Guadalajara. You will execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, perform reconciliations, and prepare financial reports to support business decisions.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional teams, opportunities to improve processes, and a strong foundation within a global coatings company.

Formación

• 2 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in global or multinational organizations.
• Knowledge of Mexican accounting standards and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced English proficiency for international stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports for corporate stakeholders.
• Oversee payroll-related accounting transactions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
• Maintain internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting support to stakeholders.

Join our Finance team as a General Ledger Accountant and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting. In this position, you will be responsible for executing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, performing account reconciliations, and preparing financial reports that support business and corporate decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to process improvements, and help maintain a strong financial foundation within a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports for corporate stakeholders while ensuring the integrity and completeness of accounting records.
• Oversee payroll-related accounting transactions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial and operational requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analysis, and timely resolution of inquiries.
• Maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance with company accounting policies, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Provide financial analysis and support to internal stakeholders, including commission calculations, reporting requests, and other business-related needs.

Required skills and experience

• 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, supporting activities such as month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience working for global or multinational organizations, supporting regional or corporate reporting requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and collaborate in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience supporting financial close, reconciliation, and reporting activities within a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting best practices.
