ABOUT THE ROLE

The Junior Editor will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of articles, interviews, and publications on our platform. This remote role is open to candidates in South America, preferably in Mexico, and requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for gaming and digital art, and a desire to grow in digital publishing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in editing and proofreading content for clarity, grammar, and standards.
2. Collaborate with the editorial team to develop engaging content.
3. Conduct research and fact-checking for accuracy.
4. Work with contributors and industry professionals to prepare submissions.
5. Manage the content calendar for timely publication.
6. Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility.
7. Engage with the community via social media to gather feedback.

Requirements:

• Strong command of English and excellent writing skills.
• Familiarity with gaming and digital art industries.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital publishing standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field.
• Experience in editing and proofreading, with portfolio samples.

Salary range: $15,000 - $18,000 per year.
