Job summary

Flex is looking for a Jr Buyer Direct in Guadalajara, North Campus, to procure direct materials and support production demands. You will handle purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and ensure inventory accuracy while collaborating with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Production teams.

The role requires an engineering or supply chain background, junior experience, and strong English skills. Proficiency in ERP/MRP and Excel is preferred, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Junior experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate-advanced English (spoken and written).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and follow up on purchase orders based on production demands and MRP outputs.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, order confirmations, and shipment status to prevent material shortages.
• Manage supplier relationships and support cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Review inventory levels, shortages, and excess material to ensure optimal stock management.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and Production teams to resolve material issues.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, and purchasing documentation.
• Support invoice reconciliation, supplier claims, and debit/credit resolutions.
• Participate in supplier reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
