Jobtailor in Toluca, MX is seeking an engineer to support design tasks, perform GD&T analyses, and ensure manufacturability of components. The role emphasizes documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and active participation in design reviews.

You will work with suppliers and OEMs, document specifications, run NX analyses, and contribute to design reviews while staying current with ASME GD&T standards and industry best practices. This is an on-site role in Toluca.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline) or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience.
• Solid knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Knowledge and practical understanding of ASME standards for dimensional tolerancing.
• Experience with suppliers and/or OEMs in dimensional topics (tolerance analysis, fit-up, assembly issues).
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments.
• English level: intermediate to advanced, able to maintain technical conversations (spoken and written).
• Nice to have: Experience in 3D design tools: NX, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• ASME certification (or in process) related to GD&T or dimensional standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support other designers with design tasks and component requirements.
• Develop, refine, and finalize criteria and sections.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and global infoBOOK standards.
• Apply manufacturability and assembly knowledge to parts and subsystems.
• Participate in design/virtual reviews and documentation.
• Complete NX analyses for subsystems and apply results with guidance.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to meet design requirements.
• Integrate component designs into systems and stay current with trends.
• Craft math data and virtual layouts of complex components.
• Communicate project status and issues to Design Manager and teams.
