Honeywell’s Security and Access Solutions unit seeks a DevOps Engineer I to join a global team in Mexico. Build and manage cloud-based automation, focusing on Azure/AWS, CI/CD pipelines and IaC. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure reliability, availability and performance of SaaS platforms.

The role emphasizes independence, strong scripting, and hands-on deployment support across development and production environments, blending DevOps practices with software engineering.

Formación

• 1 year of software engineering experience.
• Experience on Azure, AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Jenkins.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java or similar languages.
• RESTful API experience for data exchange.
• Shell scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash).
• Git or equivalent version control experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with global delivery teams on a rapidly evolving product.
• Utilize and manage Jenkins + Kubernetes based infrastructure for CI/CD.
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code for a SaaS solution.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues across dev and prod environments.
• Prioritize delivery speed and reliability to improve engineering efficiency.
• Develop tools to enhance the full development process from design to production.
• Leverage data and metrics to support decision making.
