Job summary

EDAG UK is seeking a Junior Design Engineer in Puebla, Mexico to create and update technical drawings per specifications, assist with design modifications, and ensure compliance with standards. The role involves collaboration with engineers to review assemblies for interferences and generate BOMs and design reports.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in automotive/mechanical engineering, has basic CATIA/NX skills, fluent English, and aims to grow in an international automotive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive engineering, Mechatronic engineering, Mechanical engineering or related.
• 6 months of experience in the automotive industry.
• 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation with CATIA/NX.
• Fluent English.
• German A2 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and update technical drawings according to specifications and standards.
• Perform minor design modifications under supervision.
• Review assemblies to identify interferences or dimensional issues.
• Prepare technical documentation such as BOMs and design reports.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve questions and ensure design compliance.
• Review and validate technical details.
