ALTEN Mexico is a leading engineering company providing innovative solutions for engineering, technology, and product development. The Body Design and Release Engineer in the Closures division will design, develop, and release structural components for removable tops, ensuring quality, safety, and cost targets.

Collaboration with manufacturing, testing, and suppliers is essential to meet automotive regulations and performance requirements.

Formación

• Experience designing and developing BIW, Closures, and top assemblies.
• CAD in production release environments (BIW).
• Knowledge of high strength steels/aluminum forming, weld parameters, and GD&T.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R and validation plans.
• Bill of Materials creation/editing.
• DFSS knowledge is a plus.
• CAE/CFD knowledge.
• Excellent MS Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Interface and coordinate packaging with design offices, vehicle development and other teams, and suppliers.
• Provide feasibility input from PDO concepts, sketches, and clay models.
• Support quality, weight and cost reduction initiatives.
• Release completed geometry using NX/Teamcenter.
