Royalton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Junior BI Developer (Power BI) to design, develop, and enhance Power BI reporting solutions across Finance, Operations, and Revenue. You will contribute to migrating reports to Power BI while ensuring data accuracy and performance.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ experience creating dashboards, strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data visualization best practices; fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, BI, or Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data visualization best practices
• Experience translating reporting requirements into BI solutions
• Understanding of Microsoft Fabric, semantic models, workspaces, gateways, refresh schedules, and report deployment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Business Objects is a plus
• Microsoft Power BI or Microsoft Fabric certification is a plus

The Junior BI Developer (Power BI) supports the design, development, and enhancement of Power BI reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across Finance, Operations, Commercial, Revenue, and other business areas. This role contributes to the migration of reporting solutions to Power BI while ensuring data accuracy, report performance, and an exceptional user experience.

Working closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, and the Business Intelligence team, the Junior BI Developer delivers scalable reporting solutions that improve operational efficiency and support the organization's analytics strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports that support key business functions.
• Create DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and interactive visualizations following corporate reporting standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Support the migration of legacy Business Objects reports to Power BI while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Troubleshoot report issues, validate data, and optimize dashboard performance.
• Work closely with Data Engineers and the Business Intelligence team to deliver reliable and scalable reporting solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives across BI reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data visualization best practices.
• Experience developing dashboards from documented business requirements.
• Understanding of Microsoft Fabric, semantic models, workspaces, gateways, refresh schedules, and report deployment.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business areas.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Business Objects is considered an asset.
• Microsoft Power BI or Microsoft Fabric certification is a plus.
