MezTal in Mexico is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is ideal for a recent Accounting graduate eager to develop in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.

The position is on-site at our Midtown office, requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, strong Excel skills, and professional English. You will work with cross-functional teams, maintain accurate records, and support audits while

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Available to work full-time on-site in Midtown office.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with accruals, prepaids and other GL activities.
• Prepare schedules and reports for the team.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments and support audits.
