Daikin seeks a Quality Engineer to plan and conduct QA activities for industrial manufacturing processes, materials, and products. You will assist the QA Manager in developing, implementing, and improving QA processes and QMS.

Responsibilities include reviewing non-conformities, performing analysis and tests, conducting root cause investigations, and communicating improvements to management. Fluent English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct analysis, inspection, and tests for finished products.
• Perform quality engineering reviews of design documents for conformance.
• Capture and analyze product defects during production.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations.
• Conduct Quality Gemba walks.
• Document QA data and use SPC, FMEA to evaluate processes.
• Communicate issues and suggest process improvements to management.

Description du poste

The Quality Engineer will plan, and conduct activities concerned with quality assurance of industrial manufacturing processes, materials, and products. This role will assist the Quality Assurance Manager in the development, implementation, and improvement of quality control processes and quality management systems by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors and quality inspectors.

• Reviews non-conformities discovered with purchased products or components and provides input on whether to accept the product.
• May plan and conduct the analysis, inspection, and/or test to assure the quality of finished products once qualified by production.
• Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements.
• Captures and analyzes product defects detected during production phases.
• May conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations
• Conduct Quality Gemba walks.
• Documents data obtained during quality assurance reviews and uses quality assurance tools such as statistical process control (SPC), failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), etc. for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
• Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
