A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Junior Analyst for Procurement Execution in Guadalajara. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring adherence to purchasing policies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in procurement, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

TITLE: Jr. Analyst, Procurement Executioner LATAM

LOCATION: Guadalajara SSC

REPORTS TO: Associate Manager, Procurement

Core Responsibilities:

  • Process Purchase Orders for Non-MRP generated and services Purchase Requisitions.
  • Work to meet stablished KPI targets.
  • If needed, conduct and field communications with suppliers for designated Purchase Orders to follow up for timely deliveries.
  • Maintain supplier contact information updated in systems and stablish contact with VM to update vendor information when needed.
  • Ensure key purchasing policies are adhered to.
  • Liaise with Procurement Operations to resolve issues, risks, and dependencies related to Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Vendor Communications, and/or Vendor Invoices
  • Work with AP to resolve issues related to invoices discrepancies.
  • Liaise with other buyers to share best practices, identify process opportunities, and share resources.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related discipline
  • Fluency in the language of the region they are working with (written and spoken)
  • 1-2 year of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • SAP and SAP Ariba is a plus.
  • Be customer service driven and understand the cultural and economic nuances of the region.
  • Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions, and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be detail-oriented and measurement-driven.
