Formación

• 5 years of experience in a similar role with strong negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and fluent in English.

Purchasing & Procurement Supervisor

Purpose of Role: The purchasing supervisor ensures the seamless flow of materials and supplies, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness in procurement processes. By fostering strong relationships with suppliers, they secure the best deals and maintain high-quality standards. Their strategic insights and leadership skills empower the team to meet organizational goals and adapt to market changes. This role is pivotal in optimizing operations and contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily purchasing activities to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
2. Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers to secure cost-effective purchasing, as well as competitive lead times.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
4. Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance with WMMx policies.
5. Coordinate with different departments to forecast future procurement needs, as well as new sources development needs.
6. Prepare and maintain purchasing reports and records for transparency and accountability.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
8. Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.
9. Provide training and guidance to junior purchasing staff.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering.
• Fluent English speaking.
• SAP required.
• 5 years of experience in the same position.
