Role Overview

This Position will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne’s sales and distribution modules to support and enhance the organization's sales and order management processes. This role involves implementing sales workflows, configuring order processing, managing pricing strategies, and providing solutions that align with business goals to maximize sales efficiency and customer satisfaction. Work directly with end-users to identify and define opportunities for systemic business solutions. Provide JDE training to end-users. Identify opportunities to streamline business processes in Sales, Picking, Shipping, Inventory, Planning and Pricing Areas. Troubleshoot and perform job duties following defined procedures and with limited supervision. This position is key to optimizing sales processes, improving customer satisfaction, and enabling data-driven sales insights.

Key Responsibilities

·Configure, optimize and support JD Edwards Sales Order Management module, including sales order creation, processing, and fulfilment.

  • Configure pricing strategies within JD Edwards, including base pricing, customer-specific pricing, and volume discounts.
  • Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure product availability for sales orders.
  • Implement and support real-time inventory tracking, backorder management, and allocation of inventory to sales orders.
  • Configure JD Edwards to provide visibility into stock levels and order statuses for sales and customer service teams.
  • Configure and support workflows for shipping, delivery scheduling, and transportation management.
  • Co-ordinate support for third-party logistics (3PL) systems to support efficient delivery and order tracking.
  • Analyse existing sales and distribution processes to identify inefficiencies or gaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that streamline sales workflows and reduce cycle times.
  • Implement best practices within JD Edwards to support business objectives, such as lead-to-cash and customer service optimization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for sales processes, configurations, and system setups.
  • Supporting audits to verify data accuracy, order fulfilment accuracy, and adherence to sales policies.
  • Train sales and customer service teams on JD Edwards processes, best practices, and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guides.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure end-users leverage the full functionality of JD Edwards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with other JD Edwards modules (e.g., Inventory, Finance) and systems.

Critical Competencies for Success

  • Strong knowledge of JD Edwards Sales and Distribution modules, including Sales Order Management, Advanced Pricing, and Inventory.
  • The ability to analyze and solve complex business problems using the JD Edwards system.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a must for this candidate along with Decent English Speaking/Writing Skills.
  • Experience with sales and distribution processes, order management, and customer account handling.
  • In-depth understanding of sales and order management processes, including pricing, discounting, and shipping.
  • Analytical skills to assess sales data, identify trends, and create actionable reports.
  • Ability to align JD Edwards configurations with business strategies for improved sales performance.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with sales, customer service, and technical teams.
  • Ability to explain complex system configurations in terms that non-technical users can understand.

Level of Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in JD Edwards sales consulting or support.

Required Software:

  • JD Edwards or Oracle certifications, especially in sales and distribution modules, are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices and customer account management.
