Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to contribute to design, development, testing, and support of modern retail platforms and solutions. You will partner with senior engineers, architects, product teams, and leaders to deliver high-quality software for client objectives.

The ideal candidate actively develops code, embraces AI-assisted development, and takes ownership from implementation through production support.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or similar.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, and modern integration patterns.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, debug, and support software solutions for retail and enterprise platforms.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and test generation.
• Participate in discovery activities by evaluating requirements and building proofs of concepts.
• Implement user stories, technical tasks, APIs, and platform enhancements within Agile teams.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to apply patterns and non-functional requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and deployment guidance.
• Contribute to code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve quality.
• Troubleshoot defects, production issues, and operational concerns.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability.
• Support production deployments, post-release validation, and operational readiness.
