Zurich Capability Center is currently hiring a:

Java Developer

We are seeking motivated Java Developers who are passionate about coding and open to continuous learning. This opportunity is part of a training program within our development academy, where participants will receive hands-on mentorship, technical upskilling, and practical experience in Java and related technologies.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience as a Java Developer
• Advanced English (both written and spoken) – required for communication with global teams
• Strong knowledge of Java, OOP, and design patterns
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, or similar frameworks
• Basic experience consuming and creating REST APIs / Microservices
• Familiar with Git, SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Knowledge of Agile development practices
• Willingness to learn and participate in a training program
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Nice to Have:

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices
