Description

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for coordinating with management to accomplish objectives and work plans. The role involves coordinating team efforts to meet business requirements for information technology solutions, managing projects, analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing software solutions. The individual will also lead efforts in developing, evaluating, and implementing changes in configuration and software design that meet both functional and technical requirements. Additionally, the person will research DevOps and new trends for software solutions, ensuring scalable and manufacturing-operationally applicable software engineering practices.

This individual will be the first point of escalation for customer support and IT requests related to manufacturing operations. The supervisor must manage and motivate local team members, communicate effectively with end users, and leverage technology to enhance the customer experience. Proven leadership, communication, and presentation skills are essential. The candidate should be able to deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced environment to support the development of a world-class IT organization.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 8 years of IT experience and 8 years of software development experience
• Experience managing direct reports, with at least 2 years managing an IT team
• Solid technical background with the ability to provide clear and concise guidance
• Strong customer service focus, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
• Hands-on experience with IT solution administration and development
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
