Corning Incorporated is searching for an IT Solution Architect to oversee the transformation of our Order-to-Cash systems. This role involves designing, enabling, and leading IT capabilities aligned with technical roadmaps, while guiding agile teams to deliver solutions that meet business standards. Candidates should have extensive SAP experience and excellent leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support the development of a comprehensive sales systems roadmap, and contribute to project enhancement efforts.

We are seeking a highly qualified IT Solution Architect for Order‑to‑Cash Systems to spearhead the transformation of our OTC technology landscape. The successful candidate will work in a team of Solution‑Architects to design, enable or lead the enablement of IT capabilities, according to technical roadmaps, and provide expert alignment and support to Architecture and Service Owners. This position demands leadership to direct agile teams of seasoned SAP Senior Analysts responsible for delivering project solutions and minor enhancements. The selected candidate will lead the design, delivery, and support processes, ensuring achievement of objectives and adherence to compliance standards.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Required Experience
A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in IT, with particular emphasis on sales systems.
Over 5 years of practical experience working with SAP modules related to sales, specifically SAP SD and LE, SAP GTS or trade compliance processes.
Certification or demonstrated proficiency in utilizing BTP extension technologies (no‑coding).
Documented success in designing and implementing end‑to‑end sales solutions and processes, and enhancements.
Proven ability to temporarily lead teams of 5 members as part of (agile) projects.
