Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and implement the company’s technology vision and roadmap.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to drive innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology with business strategy.
  • Represent technology in board meetings and investor discussions.
Team Management & Culture
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier engineering and technical talent.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive engineering culture.
  • Establish clear objectives and KPIs for technology teams.
Product & Engineering Execution
  • Lead the development, deployment, and scaling of our technology platforms.
  • Oversee software architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and QA practices.
  • Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of technology initiatives.
Security, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure systems and data are secure, compliant, and resilient.
  • Oversee risk assessment and disaster recovery planning.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with product, marketing, operations, and customer support teams.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Bridge communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as Senior Manager, Director, VP of Engineering, or similar leadership role.
  • 10+ years in software engineering, systems architecture, or IT leadership.
  • Deep understanding of scalable architecture, cloud platforms, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Track record of building and managing high-performing tech teams.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Major in Northstar architecture
  • Experience in Fintech, Banking and Automotive industries.
  • Start-up or high-growth environment experience.
