Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, seeks an experienced IT Site Administrator for its Guadalajara facility to support IT and OT infrastructure, end-user tech, and shop floor connectivity. You will partner with corporate IT and operations to ensure secure, reliable technology that enables operational excellence.

Key qualifications include 5+ years in IT in manufacturing, AD and M365 administration, VMware, and strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related field with 5+ IT years; or Associate with 7+ IT years.
• Experience supporting network equipment, Active Directory, data storage, backups, PCs and software.
• Experience supporting OT in manufacturing, including shop floor device connectivity.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Windows networking technologies.
• Experience supporting endpoint tech, hardware deployment, software distribution, and asset management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within a manufacturing environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with urgency and ownership.
• Ability to provide support outside traditional working hours as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT/OT contact for the site.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and manufacturing technology environments.
• Maintain and enhance IT/OT infrastructure while ensuring cybersecurity and standards compliance.
• Support manufacturing operations through reliable technology solutions and shop floor connectivity.
• Lead and coordinate technology deployments, upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and equipment lifecycle activities.
• Partner with business leaders, regional IT teams, and vendors to deliver technology solutions and resolve operational challenges.
• Monitor system performance, support business continuity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, security, and Principle Based Management.
